Il testo della Benedizione Apostolica: «Sua Santità Francesco in occasione dell’Anno Santo 2025 imparte di cuore l’implorata Benedizione Apostolica a XX ed invoca una rinnovata effusione di grazie celesti e la materna protezione della Beata Vergine Maria affinché, con cuore fiducioso e mente lungimirante, mantengono/mantiene sempre accesa la Fiaccola della Speranza nel Mondo».

La Benedizione Apostolica su pergamena può essere ottenuta solamente nelle seguenti due modi:

• Direttamente presso l’Ufficio Pergamene dell’Elemosineria Apostolica, nella Città del Vaticano, con entrata dall’Ingresso Sant’Anna (sulla destra del Colonnato della Piazza San Pietro) negli orari di apertura: lunedì, mercoledì, venerdì e sabato dalle ore 08.30 alle 13.30; martedì e giovedì dalle ore 08.30 alle 17.30. Qui si possono richiedere le pergamene, scegliere il modello, per essere ritirate oppure spedite.
• Online tramite il sito internet dell’Elemosineria Apostolica (non ci sono altri siti internet autorizzati a ricevere o trasmettere richieste di pergamene). Occorre seguire la procedura compilando i dati richiesti e seguendo le istruzioni indicate nei vari passaggi.

I tempi necessari per ricevere la pergamena sono di circa 15 giorni per il ritiro in Elemosineria Pontificia (nella e-mail di conferma verrà indicata la data dalla quale sarà possibile ritirare la pergamena) e di 20 giorni per la spedizione (il corriere espresso DHL invierà una email per la presa in carico della spedizione e con i riferimenti per la sua tracciabilità).

I costi riguardano:

• La pergamena: 29 Euro.
• Le spese per la spedizione con corriere espresso DHL: Italia 15 Euro fino a 20 pergamene, 22 Euro oltre 20 pergamene; Europa 20,00 Euro fino a 5 pergamene, 24 Euro oltre 5 pergamene; Regno Unito 22 Euro fino a 5 pergamene, 26 Euro oltre 5 pergamene; USA, Canada, Messico, America Centrale e del Sud, Oceania e Asia  25 Euro fino a 5 pergamene, 29 Euro oltre 5 pergamene; Africa 30 Euro fino a 5 pergamene, 40 Euro oltre 5 pergamene.

Il Dicastero per il Servizio della Carità o Elemosineria Apostolica è un’espressione speciale della misericordia e, partendo dall’opzione per i poveri, i vulnerabili e gli esclusi, esercita in qualsiasi parte del mondo l’opera di assistenza e di aiuto verso di loro a nome del Romano Pontefice, il quale nei casi di particolare indigenza o di altra necessità, dispone personalmente gli aiuti da destinare.

Il Dicastero, sotto la guida dell’Elemosiniere di Sua Santità rende concreta, con la sua attività, la sollecitudine e la vicinanza del Papa, quale Pastore della Chiesa universale, nei riguardi di coloro che vivono in situazioni di indigenza, di emarginazione o di povertà, come pure in occasione di gravi calamità.

Il Dicastero è competente a ricevere, cercare e sollecitare libere donazioni destinate alle opere di carità che il Santo Padre esercita verso i più bisognosi.

L’Elemosiniere di Sua Santità ha altresì la facoltà di concedere la Benedizione Apostolica a mezzo di diplomi su carta pergamena debitamente autenticati e tutto il ricavato viene destinato per la carità.

Tra i suoi compiti l’Elemosiniere ha anche quello di svuotare il conto della carità del Santo Padre e, secondo la logica del Vangelo, aiutare il prossimo che si trova in grande difficoltà.

Papa Francesco spesso dice che la Chiesa è come un “Ospedale da campo”, quindi il Dicastero è il Suo Pronto Soccorso, un braccio caritativo e misericordioso che deve correre per curare le ferite e sostenere gli sfortunati.

on the occasion
of the Holy Year 2025

On the occasion of the Jubilee Year 2025, the Dicastery for the Service of Charity, also called the Office of Apostolic Charities, presided over by the Almoner of His Holiness, Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, has made available two models of the Apostolic Blessing on parchment. The two models measure 32.5 x 42 cm and cost 29 Euros, with the eventual addition of shipping costs. The Apostolic Blessing on parchment cannot be requested by mail or fax or e-mail, but only in two ways: at the Office of Parchments of the Office of Apostolic Charities in the Vatican City, or online. In this regard, it should be noted that the costs indicated for the granting of the Papal Blessing refer solely to the expenses for the preparation of the parchment and its shipment and to a contribution for the charitable activities that the Papal Charity Office exercises directly every day towards the needy who every day in their needs reach out to the Successor of Peter.

The Apostolic Blessing on parchment can be obtained only in the following two ways:

• Directly at the Parchments Office of the Office of Papal Charities, in the Vatican City, with entrance from the Sant’Anna Entrance (on the right of the Colonnade of St. Peter’s Square) during opening hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm; Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. Here you can request the parchments, choose the model, to be collected or sent.
• Online through the website of the Papal Charities (there are no other websites authorized to receive or transmit requests for parchments). You must follow the procedure by filling in the requested data and following the instructions indicated in the various steps.

The time required to receive the parchment is approximately 15 days for collection at the Papal Charities (the confirmation e-mail will indicate the date from which it will be possible to collect the parchment) and 20 days for shipping (the DHL express courier will send an email to take charge of the shipment and with the references for its traceability).

The costs include:

• The parchment: 29 Euros.

The Dicastery for the Service of Charity or Office of Papal Charities is a special expression of mercy and, starting from the option for the poor, the vulnerable and the excluded, carries out in any part of the world the work of assistance and help towards them in the name of the Roman Pontiff, who in cases of particular indigence or other need, personally arranges the aid to be allocated.

The Dicastery, under the guidance of the Almoner of His Holiness, makes concrete, with its activity, the solicitude and closeness of the Pope, as Pastor of the universal Church, towards those who live in situations of indigence, marginalization or poverty, as well as in the event of serious disasters.

The Dicastery is competent to receive, seek and solicit free donations intended for the works of charity that the Holy Father carries out towards the most needy.

The Almoner of His Holiness also has the power to grant the Apostolic Blessing by means of duly authenticated diplomas on parchment paper and all proceeds are allocated to charity.

Among his duties, the Almoner also has that of emptying the Holy Father’s charity account and, according to the logic of the Gospel, helping the neighbor who is in great difficulty. Pope Francis often says that the Church is like a “field hospital”, so the Dicastery is its Emergency Room, a charitable and merciful arm that must run to heal wounds and support the unfortunate.
